Duties

- Lead and manage the service department team, including technicians and support staff, to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional service delivery
- Oversee daily operations such as appointment scheduling, work order management, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity
- Provide expert guidance on automotive repairs, diagnostics, and mechanical issues to ensure quality workmanship
- Drive sales by promoting additional services and upselling maintenance packages while maintaining a focus on customer needs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, dealership policies, and industry regulations at all times




- Maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering transparent communication, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Monitor department performance metrics, implement improvements, and motivate staff to meet or exceed targets

Experience

- Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar leadership role within an automotive repair environment
- Extensive mechanic experience with solid mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and repairs
- Demonstrated success in customer service excellence and effective communication skills
- Experience in sales techniques including upselling maintenance services and parts
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, diagnostic tools, and industry best practices
- Competence in cash handling procedures and managing financial transactions accurately
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment
