POSITION: Maintenance Manager

STATUS: Full-Time Permanent Position

SALARY: $110K – 150K DOE on relevant experience - plus advantages and bonus of 10%-15% potential
LOCATION: Vancouver, BC - Relocation assistance available

Our client is a global distributor of products used in the food industry is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager. This individual will plan, organize, lead, and oversees the material, human, and financial resources of the electrical and mechanical maintenance departments in an industrial environment. The role ensures compliance with company policies, practices, budgets, and deadlines and is responsible for managing capital investment projects.

MUST HAVES

· Licensed Millwright 433A Mechanical Engineering Diploma or Degree an asset

· A minimum of five years of maintenance management experience in manufacturing/distribution

· Capital Projects experience

· Strong Preventative Maintenance expertise

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:





· Keeping the plant running with minimal downtime

· Keeping the plant running with no injuries

· Union experience to handle the hourly union employees

· Complying with all health and safety procedures and ensuring all staff does

· Preparing maintenance budgets

· Involvement in capital projects

· Involvement with improvement initiatives regarding reliability, maintenance and efficiency

· Assesses the training and skills development needs of employees under their supervision.

Pay: $110,000.00-$150,000.00 per year

Experience:
