Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle food with care and maintain proper food safety and hygiene practices
- Assist with food presentation and plating
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, following health regulations
- Follow safety protocols for food handling, cooking, and sanitation
- Support team members during busy periods, showing flexibility and teamwork
- Store ingredients and supplies properly to prevent spoilage or contamination
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, a restaurant, or a kitchen is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to serve customers professionally and courteously
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while paying attention to detail
