Duties

- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain overhead doors, garage door openers, springs, cables, rollers, hinges, and tracks with precision and safety in mind.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, and pliers to complete various tasks efficiently.
- Conduct inspections of existing systems to identify issues related to door operation or safety hazards.
- Perform restoration work including drywall repairs, caulking, welding repairs, or carpentry as needed for comprehensive service delivery.
- Collaborate with clients to explain repair procedures and provide maintenance recommendations for long-term system performance.
- Maintain detailed records of service calls,



repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each job for accurate reporting.

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools and familiarity with construction site safety protocols.
- Experience in construction or related trades such as carpentry or drywall installation.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide installation or repair processes.
- Knowledge of restoration techniques including drywall repair, welding is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for working directly with clients and team members.

Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions throughout the day.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 80.0 per week

Experience:

- Overhead door: 4 years (required)
- Industrial maintenance: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (required)
