We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Greenhouse Irrigation Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of irrigation systems in greenhouse environments. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has solid mechanical aptitude, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. We have projects throughout the Fraser Valley to Metro Vancouver, as well as projects across Canada.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain greenhouse irrigation systems, including piping, tubing, valves, pumps, and other irrigation components
- Read and follow irrigation layouts, drawings, and installation instructions
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments to irrigation systems as required
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Work safely and efficiently on job sites
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Travel to various customer and project sites as required
- Perform other installation and general labour duties as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience with irrigation, plumbing, greenhouse systems, or mechanical installation is an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift materials as required
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset
- Previous greenhouse or agricultural experience is an asset
- Willingness and ability to travel is an asset
