Immigration Caseworker – Experienced

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Caseworker with fluent English communication skills and proven experience independently preparing Canadian immigration applications for retained clients from start to finish.

The ideal candidate must be capable of communicating with retained clients, collecting and reviewing supporting documents, completing application forms, preparing supporting letters and document checklists, and organizing complete application files ready for final review.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently prepare Canadian immigration application files for retained clients, from file opening through completion of the preparation process.
- Communicate with retained clients to collect information, request supporting documents, clarify discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding requirements.
- Complete immigration application forms and prepare supporting documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Review documents for completeness, consistency, and compliance with applicable IRCC requirements.
- Prepare organized, submission-ready application packages for internal review and final processing.
- Manage multiple client files, track outstanding documents, and meet preparation deadlines.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure confidentiality.
- Keep up to date with changes to IRCC forms, document checklists, and application requirements.

Types of Applications





The candidate must have hands-on experience preparing the following applications independently:

- Temporary Resident Visas (TRVs) and visitor visas
- Spousal sponsorship applications
- Permanent Residence (PR) applications
- Canadian citizenship applications
- Open work permits and other work permit applications
- Visitor record extensions and other temporary residence applications

Required Qualifications

- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience independently preparing Canadian immigration applications.
- Ability to manage retained client files end to end through application preparation and internal file completion.
- Robust working knowledge of IRCC forms, supporting documentation, and application requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and client follow-up abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple files simultaneously.

Candidates must have practical, hands-on experience preparing immigration applications independently, rather than only providing administrative support to another caseworker.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 44.0 per week
