Summary

Join iCare Home Health Services as a Personal Support Worker in Florida. In this vital role, you will deliver compassionate personal and nursing support to clients in their homes across Ontario, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This is a unique assignment to accompany client to Florida, USA. PSW Travel, accommodation and meals costs are included in addition to wages.
Responsibilities

- Accompany client to Florida, USA for 2 month for a physiotherapy treatment
- Provide personal support and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Medications reminder and monitor health conditions as per care plans.
- Support clients with disabilities, or chronic illnesses with patience and professionalism.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and other household tasks.
- Document care provided accurately on our digital platform, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.




- Promote mental and physical stimulation through engaging activities.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure client well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Qualifications
- Possession of a current Canadian passport, or other country's with a valid visa to USA.
- Proven experience using a Hoyer lift in assisted living or home settings.
- Ability to administer medications safely.
- Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent.
- Flexibility to work in various home environments.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Oakville, ON: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
