On behalf of our client, a highly regarded national law firm, we are searching for an experienced Specialist, Business Development & Marketing to join the Vancouver team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and adaptable professional with a strong background in business development and marketing, preferably within a professional services environment. The successful candidate will support the firm's regional business development initiatives, marketing strategies, client engagement activities and profile-building efforts while working closely with senior leadership and various practice groups.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the development and execution of business development plans for the Vancouver office, ensuring alignment with broader organizational priorities
- Coordinate business development initiatives, marketing materials, submissions and profile-raising activities for various practice groups
- Prepare and coordinate submissions for legal directories, rankings, industry guides and awards
- Support sponsorship initiatives, including evaluating opportunities, coordinating deliverables and maximizing brand exposure
- Assist with strategic partnerships, client hospitality initiatives and promotional activities
- Identify opportunities to showcase thought leadership and enhance the visibility of the firm and its lawyers
- Coordinate internal and client-facing events, conferences and business development activities

Requirements:

- Undergraduate education in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of progressive business development or marketing experience within a professional services environment
- Experience in marketing and business development in a law firm is an asset




- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with senior management, lawyers and various internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience coordinating business development initiatives and managing projects from concept through completion
- Robust strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a collaborative environment with multiple reporting relationships and competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with CRM systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work overtime as required

Salary Range: $68,000 – $113,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
