Position Summary :

This posting is for an existing vacancy.

We are looking for dependable Sidewalk Tractor Operators to join our winter operations team.

You will operate sidewalk tractors to clear snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, and other designated areas, while helping keep our properties safe and accessible throughout the winter season.

This is an on-call winter position, and employees must be available 24/7 during winter weather events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Aurora
- Newmarket
- EG
- Bradford
- Markham
- Vaughan
- Richmond Hill and surrounding areas.

What You'll Do :

- Monitor weather conditions and respond to winter events as required.
- Operate a sidewalk tractor to explicit snow from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, and other designated areas .
- Work safely in snow, ice, and cold weather conditions.
- Assist with other winter maintenance duties and winter equipments as required.
- Follow direction from the Crew Lead / Supervisor and work safely around pedestrians, parked vehicles, and equipment.

What We're Looking For :

- Reliable transportation to and from the assigned yard location.




- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous snow removal or outdoor labour experience is an asset.
- Ability to work outdoors in snow, ice, and cold weather conditions.
- Ability to be on call 24/7 for winter call-outs.

Compensation :

- $20+ per hour, depending on experience, position, and reliability.
- Standby bonus available throughout the winter season for eligible employees.
