Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Band Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating band saw equipment to cut various materials accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality output. The Band Saw Operator will play a vital part in maintaining production flow while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Operate band saw machinery to cut materials according to specifications and production schedules.
- Set up and adjust saw blades, guides, and other equipment components for accurate cuts.
- Perform quality inspections on finished parts using calipers, measuring tools, and visual checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assist with machine maintenance, troubleshooting issues,



and performing basic repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge for assembly or minor adjustments when necessary.

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating band saws or similar cutting machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
