Job Overview

City Energy Solutions Ltd. is seeking motivated, experienced, and results-driven Solar Sales Representatives to join our growing team.

This position involves the complete sales process, from generating leads and booking appointments to conducting in-home consultations and closing deals. Representatives will also work with company-generated leads and assist in training and developing new appointment setters.

We are looking for ambitious individuals with strong communication skills, proven sales abilities, and a passion for achieving results in the renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities

- Generate leads through door-to-door prospecting, referrals, networking, and other sales channels.
- Independently identify prospective customers, schedule appointments, and close self-generated sales.
- Attend qualified customer appointments provided by the company's appointment-setting team.
- Conduct professional in-home consultations, present customized solar proposals, and explain financing options.
- Educate homeowners on the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy.
- Negotiate with prospective customers, overcome objections, and successfully close deals.
- Effectively manage multiple appointments, customer follow-ups, and sales opportunities.
- Train, mentor, and support new appointment setters in prospecting, customer engagement, and lead generation.
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve appointment quality, conversion rates, and overall performance.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities using company-provided CRM tools.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer service.





Qualifications & Experience

- Previous sales experience preferred, particularly in solar, direct sales, or door-to-door sales.
- Robust communication, negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
- Ability to independently generate leads and manage the entire sales cycle.
- Experience training or mentoring sales representatives is an asset.
- Confident conducting customer presentations and handling objections.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual abilities are considered an asset.
- Solar industry experience is preferred but not required.
