We are looking for a Senior Service Designer to join a Long-term Contract opportunity based in Burlington, Ontario. In this role, you will shape connected experiences across products, platforms, and customer touchpoints by bringing a holistic view to complex design challenges. You will work across a range of initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to improve how users discover, adopt, and continue engaging with digital solutions. This position is ideal for someone who combines strategic service design expertise with strong facilitation skills and a clear understanding of how experience improvements support business growth.

Responsibilities:
Drive service design initiatives across multiple digital experiences, translating complex challenges into structured journeys, blueprints, and practical recommendations for delivery teams.
Influence project direction early by helping define briefs, clarifying problem statements, and guiding senior stakeholders toward effective design decisions.
Identify opportunities where improved service experiences can strengthen customer acquisition, product adoption, and long-term engagement.
Incorporate AI tools into day-to-day design work to speed up research synthesis, uncover patterns, and highlight high-value opportunities while applying sound human judgement.
Facilitate workshops, collaborative sessions, and design sprints that help stakeholders align on priorities and move toward clear next steps.
Produce strong supporting evidence for each engagement by documenting outcomes, insights,



and examples that demonstrate the value of design partnership.
Strengthen team capability by sharing methods, encouraging connected thinking, and contributing to higher standards across product and digital design practices.
Work across short- and long-range initiatives, leaving behind scalable frameworks, clear documentation, and service improvements that continue beyond the engagement.

At least 8 years of experience in service design, with a portfolio that demonstrates strategic impact on complex initiatives.
Proven ability to engage confidently with senior leaders and influence decisions through clear, thoughtful communication.
Strong systems thinking skills, with the ability to connect user needs, business goals, operational processes, and technology considerations.
Demonstrated understanding of how service and experience design contribute to measurable business outcomes and growth.
Hands-on experience using AI tools as an established part of the design process rather than limited experimentation.
Proficiency with Figma and Miro, supported by excellent workshop facilitation and collaboration skills.




Experience with UX and digital design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, prototyping platforms, and web design concepts including CSS.
Ability to work effectively across varied teams and initiatives with a practical, low-ego approach and a commitment to quality.
