Job Description

Property Partners Contracting is seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Painter to join our growing team.

We specialize in residential and commercial painting, property maintenance, apartment turnovers, and renovations throughout Greater Victoria.

This is an output-based position, not an hourly position. Compensation is based on completed projects, agreed-upon rates, productivity, and quality of workmanship.

We are looking for a painter who can work independently, complete projects efficiently, and consistently deliver professional results.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces through patching, sanding, caulking, and priming.
- Paint interior walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and baseboards.
- Complete apartment turnover painting within agreed project timelines.
- Perform minor drywall repairs and touch-ups.
- Complete exterior painting projects when required.
- Protect floors, fixtures, and surrounding areas.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Ensure completed work meets company quality standards.
- Communicate project progress and material requirements to management.
- Address deficiencies or touch-ups before project completion.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of professional painting experience preferred.
- Experience with residential apartment turnovers and commercial painting.
- Ability to independently complete painting projects from preparation to final finish.
- Strong drywall patching, sanding, caulking, and finishing skills.




- Ability to work efficiently without compromising workmanship.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's licence preferred.
- Ability to meet agreed project deadlines.
- Professional conduct when working around tenants and property managers.

Compensation Structure

- Payment based on completed painting projects or agreed production rates.
- Project pricing established before work begins.
- Earnings based on productivity, efficiency, and quality of completed work.

- All compensation arrangements will comply with applicable BC employment standards.
