Located in downtown Toronto, our new 223 room hotel will feature multiple restaurants, bars, a spa, and approximately 10,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space. Join our opening culinary team and help create memorable dining and event experiences for our guests.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping and Housekeeping Supervisors, the Housekeeping Houseperson maintains clean, welcoming public and back-of-house areas and supports Room Attendants with linen, supplies and guest requests. During pre-opening, the Houseperson will assist with deep cleaning, stocking housekeeping areas and preparing the hotel for its first guests.

Key Responsibilities

· Clean and maintain assigned public areas, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, public washrooms and back-of-house spaces.

· Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitize surfaces, and replenish public washroom supplies.

· Deliver clean linen, towels and guest supplies to Room Attendants and housekeeping storage areas.

· Collect and transport soiled linen, waste and recycling using established handling procedures.

· Deliver requested guest amenities and assist with approved room setups, including extra beds and cribs, as trained.

· Support pre-opening deep cleaning, housekeeping-area setup and stocking of linen closets.

· Assist with scheduled deep cleaning and floor care using approved equipment and products.

· Report maintenance issues, damage and safety hazards promptly, and follow lost-and-found procedures.

· Follow guest-privacy, key-control, safe lifting, chemical handling,



WHMIS and workplace health and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

· Previous hotel housekeeping, public-area cleaning or similar experience is preferred.

· Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment is an asset; willingness to learn safe procedures is essential.

· A dependable, organized approach with attention to cleanliness and guest service.

· Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including extended standing and walking, bending, lifting and moving linen carts and supplies, with accommodation where required.

· Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively and work independently and as part of a team.

· Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends and statutory holidays.
