About Us

Sadler Behaviour Consulting is seeking a qualified, motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing multidisciplinary team as an independent contractor on a part-time basis.

We provide individualized behavioural and clinical services to children, adolescents, and adults with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, and complex support needs across home, school, and residential settings.

Position Overview

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about improving quality of life, promoting independence, and supporting individuals with diverse developmental and behavioural needs.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with behaviour analysts, families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop practical, individualized interventions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Assess and address sensory processing, motor, self-care, and adaptive functioning needs.
- Develop interventions to improve daily living skills, independence, and functional participation.
- Provide consultation and recommendations to families, caregivers, and support staff.
- Collaborate with behaviour analysts and other members of the clinical team.
- Provide direct intervention, caregiver training, and staff consultation as appropriate.
- Complete assessment reports, treatment documentation, and progress updates.
- Support clients in home, school, residential, and community environments.

Qualifications





- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
- Experience working with individuals with autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or complex behavioural needs is preferred.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Reliable transportation for community-based services.
