Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Plumber/Gasfitter to join our dynamic team. This essential role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and gas systems across various residential projects. As a key contributor, you will utilize your technical expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plumbing and gasfitting services. Service experience is a must prior to applying for this position.

Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, appliances, and gas lines in accordance with blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to execute precise installations
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with construction teams to assemble plumbing components and ensure proper integration within building structures
- Troubleshoot issues using basic math skills to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with schematics, assembly instructions, and during heavy lifting or welding activities

Requirements





- Valid Journeyman/Woman Plumber or Gasfitter license demonstrating completion of an approved apprenticeship program
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, or construction environments
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills for assembly tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for demanding workdays
- Strong understanding of basic math principles for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and project managers
- Commitment to safety standards and adherence to local building codes throughout all work activities
