At Support On The Way we are looking for dynamic individuals to join our enthusiastic team for our day to day operations. The successful candidate will be able to recognize and respond to the needs of each child and work cohesively, respectfully and professionally with other staff and families. We are looking for candidates who will help contribute to a warm and nurturing environment, where children feel secure to explore and express themselves. We are currently looking for permanent full time and part time Registered Early Childhood Educators (R.E.C.E.) and Early Childhood Assistant (E.C.A.) positions.

Qualifications:
Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators for E.C.E. applicants
To be able to speak, read and write English
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children
Knowledgeable and/or experienced with the Reggio Emilia philosophy
Knowledgeable and/or experienced in Emergent Curriculum practices
Ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with children, parents and staff
Ability to use tact, discretion and good judgement




Well develop problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Able to work independently and within a team environment
Keep current with early childhood practices
Flexibility regarding assigned working hours
Excellent classroom management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Valid Standard First Aid/CPR training certification
Clear vulnerable person’s criminal reference check
Up to date health and immunization records
Upon hire, you will be required to have current Standard Level C-First Aid/CPR, 2 Step TB, Immunizations (Tetanus, MMR)
