Responsibilities:
- Assist with guiding and redirecting the child to participate in the classroom positively.
- Provide support and assistance to child with regulating emotions.

-Support child during transitions
- Help create a safe and nurturing setting in the classroom
- Assist with behavior management strategies and techniques
- Support the lead teacher in maintaining a clean and organized classroom
- Collaborate with other classroom staff to ensure smooth operation of daily activities
- Assist with individualized instruction and activities for children with special needs

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and curriculum development
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques for children with special needs




- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
- Ability to adapt to the individual needs of each child in the classroom

Work hours: 12 PM to 5 PM, 5 hours a day

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 per week
