Warehouse Employee/Delivery Driver

Job Summary

This position is under the direction of the Assistant Manager of our Dawson Creek location. While working in the warehouse you will be responsible for unloading and putting away stock, pulling items to prepare for shipping/delivery and inventory. For the delivery driver part of the roll the employee will be responsible for proper handling and securing loads for delivery in accordance with established safety requirements. This role will need to complete pre-trip inspections on delivery vehicle and appropriate paperwork for delivery slips and invoices. This position requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent and ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Job Duties

- Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Proper handling and securing loads in accordance with established safety requirements.
- Prepare appropriate paperwork for shipping, delivery slips and invoices.




- Resolve any cases of missing documentation, shipments, or deliveries.
- Adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times.
- Receive and process warehouse stock products.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory to management.
- Manually load and unload materials from pallets and skids. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift including pre-trip forms, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, and hours of service, following applicable provincial and federal regulations.

Job Requirements

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of driving rules and regulations.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
