Job Overview

Reco Cleaning Services Inc., a division of Safeline Group of Companies, is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Labour Foreman to lead and oversee construction activities on a dynamic project in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. This pivotal role involves supervising onsite labor teams, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and managing project timelines effectively. The Labour Foreman will serve as a key communicator between the field crew and project management, driving productivity while fostering a safe and collaborative work environment. Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the site labour team, including daily task assignments and manpower coordination.
- Coordinate labour activities with site management, superintendents, subcontractors, and other trades.
- Plan and prioritize daily work to support the construction schedule and maintain site productivity.
- Complete all required safety documentation accurately and on time, including daily paperwork, inspections, toolbox talks, and incident documentation.
- Enforce company and site-specific health and safety policies and ensure workers follow proper procedures and use required PPE.
- Conduct regular site walks and identify labour, housekeeping, access, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate site housekeeping, material handling, garbage removal, temporary protection, snow removal, and general site maintenance as required.
- Coordinate deliveries, unloading, material movement, and staging throughout the building and site.
- Monitor labour hours, attendance, absenteeism, and daily manpower.




- Communicate regularly with office and payroll staff regarding employee hours, attendance, scheduling, and labour requirements.
- Maintain accurate timesheets, daily reports, and labour records.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials required by the labour team are available and properly maintained.
- Train and direct new labourers on site procedures, expectations, and safe work practices.
- Identify site issues or manpower requirements and communicate them promptly to site management.
- Assist with hoarding, temporary barriers, signage, access control, and other temporary construction requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site throughout all phases of construction.
- Support site management with additional labour-related duties as required to keep the project on schedule.
- Experience of entire project life cycle

Qualifications

- Strong language and communication skills
- Valid Working at Heights Certificate
- G-License
- An eye for detail and drive for accuracy
- A friendly, positive and easy-going attitude
- Someone who is willing to learn and grown within the company
- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
- Superior time management and efficient workflow
- Can start as soon as possible
