Juvenescence Child Development Centres is looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and motivated Out of School Care Educators to join our team at our South Calgary locations.

We provide before and after school care for children in Kindergarten through Grade 6. We believe that out of school care should be more than supervision — it should be a place where children feel safe, supported, connected, and excited to learn and explore.

We are looking for educators who bring creativity, initiative, and a positive attitude to their work and who want to contribute to a collaborative, supportive team.

What You'll Do

- Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and learning.
- Support children's social-emotional development, independence, and self-regulation.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where every child feels valued.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and healthy program space.
- Follow licensing requirements, health and safety procedures, and program policies.
- Take initiative, contribute ideas, and collaborate with your team to create meaningful experiences for children.
- Communicate professionally with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

- Alberta Child Care Certification Level 1, 2, or 3.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Minimum of two years of child care experience.
- Experience working with school-aged children is an asset.

Compensation

Base wage: $16.25–$20.00 per hour, depending on certification and experience.

Eligible certified educators may also receive the following Alberta wage top-ups:

- Level 1: $2.64 per hour
- Level 2: $5.05 per hour
- Level 3: $8.62 per hour

Wage top-ups are subject to applicable eligibility requirements and program guidelines.

Hours of Work

- Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
- Full-time position, approximately 36 hours per week.




- Shifts may include a combination of morning and afternoon hours to meet program needs.
