About the Opportunity

Fuze HR Solutions is currently recruiting an experienced 5-Axis CNC Milling Machinist for a well-established precision manufacturing company in Mississauga, ON.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist who enjoys working on complex, high-precision components and takes pride in producing quality work.

We are looking for someone with strong hands-on 5-axis CNC milling experience who is confident completing machine setups, troubleshooting machining issues and maintaining tight tolerances.

What You'll Be Doing

Set up and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines to manufacture complex precision components.

Perform complete machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, work offsets and tool offsets.

*
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and GD&T; specifications.

*
Load, verify and adjust CNC programs as required.

*
Perform first-off inspections and make necessary machining adjustments.

*
Monitor machining operations to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements.

*
Troubleshoot tooling, machining and setup issues to minimize downtime.

*
Inspect components using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers and gauges.

*
Work closely with programming,



quality and production teams to ensure components meet customer specifications.

*
Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.

What We're Looking For

*
Hands-on 5-axis CNC milling experience is required.

*
Experience independently setting up and operating CNC milling machines.

*
Strong understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, speeds, feeds and workholding.

*
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.;

*
Experience machining complex components to tight tolerances.

*
Comfortable performing first-off and in-process inspections.

*
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

*
Previous precision machining or job shop experience is an asset.

*
Mastercam or other CAD/CAM software experience is an asset.

*
Reliable, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently.

*
Must be available to work a straight afternoon shift.

Compensation & Benefits
