Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Leasing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage leasing activities, foster positive relationships with prospective and current tenants, and ensure smooth rental operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, and strong organizational abilities,. The Leasing Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining high occupancy rates and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

- Manage the leasing process from inquiry to lease signing, including conducting property tours and explaining lease terms.
- Respond promptly to prospective tenant inquiries via phone, email, or in person, demonstrating professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Maintain accurate records of applicant information, lease agreements, and tenant communications through filing and data management.
- Conduct negotiations with prospective tenants to secure favourable lease terms while ensuring tenant satisfaction.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and property staff to address tenant requests efficiently.
- Assist in marketing efforts by promoting available units and managing online listings to attract potential residents.




- Support administrative tasks such as filing, preparing leasing documents, and updating tenant records.
- Foster positive customer relationships by providing exceptional service throughout the leasing process and beyond.
- Data entry, lease administration, and reporting.

Qualifications

- Strong office experience with administrative skills including data entry, filing, and record keeping.
- Background in sales or customer service, with excellent negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of property management practices and tenant relations.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
- Prior experience in property management or leasing is preferred but not required.
