We are looking for a Full Time Class 3 or Class 1 Driver / Operations Coordinator to join our growing team.
The position will entail driving, operational duties & customer service
- Enjoy working with our new fleet, Roll Off, Front-Loads, Sideload & pickup trucks
- Maintain a valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
- 2 years or more’ experience with waste management Ideal but not required
- Currently residing in the Sea to Sky Corridor & familiar with the local areas
- Assisting with deliveries Signage, bin placement and other operational tasks
- Supporting daily routes & coordinating operational needs including, daily workloads, confirming schedules as well maintaining daily route efficiency
- Conduct & log drivers’ meetings & tailgates / JHSC & maintenance tracking
- Provide training for employees on all equipment
- Site inspections / visits
- Supporting special events,
- Monitoring inventory
- Main support for GM
What we are looking for:
- Maintain a valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver’s license
- 2 years or more’ of experience with waste management
- Solid Communication skills, reliable, positive; and safety-minded
- Mechanically inclined
- Organized and able to adapt when priorities change
