We are seeking a skilled and reliable Professional Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience with residential and/or commercial painting projects and takes pride in delivering high-quality, detail-oriented work. This role requires solid technical skills, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining clean and protected job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting (scraping, sanding, patching, priming)
- Apply paint, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Protect furniture, floors, and surrounding areas from paint damage
- Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes
- Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
- Follow safety guidelines and job specifications
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a professional painter
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Ability to lift ladders, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with residential and/or commercial projects
- Ability to read blueprints or work orders
- Safety training (a plus)
