Responsibilities

- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for patient appointments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology when applicable
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits




- Manage patient records accurately using dental Tracker software including updating treatment notes and scheduling follow-ups
- Support front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing dental reception duties
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards to protect patients and staff

Experience

- Proven experience as a Certified Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental practice or clinic setting
- Familiarity with dental software Tracker for record keeping and appointment management
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including children in pediatric settings
- Certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program is required; ongoing education in dental assisting is encouraged
