Position Overview

Augury Healthcare is seeking experienced Occupational Therapists interested in anticipated contract opportunities across Saskatchewan.

We are looking for dedicated rehabilitation professionals who are passionate about helping individuals improve their functional abilities, maintain independence and participate meaningfully in everyday activities.

Potential opportunities may include acute care, rehabilitation, continuing care and community healthcare environments, depending on facility requirements.

Successful candidates will provide evidence-informed occupational therapy assessments, individualized treatment planning and collaborative rehabilitation services.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized educational institution.
- Current registration with the Saskatchewan College of Occupational Therapists (SCOT), or eligibility for registration.
- Minimum two years of relevant professional Occupational Therapy experience.
- Experience conducting functional assessments and developing rehabilitation plans.
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment, mobility support and activities of daily living.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Experience in acute care, rehabilitation, continuing care or community healthcare is an asset.
- Additional assignment-specific qualifications may be required.

Key Responsibilities





- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate functional abilities and limitations.
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans.
- Support patients in improving independence with activities of daily living.
- Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive devices and environmental modifications.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional performance.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients, families and caregivers on rehabilitation strategies and safe daily activities.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports.
- Follow professional standards, confidentiality requirements and workplace safety procedures.
