Junk Ninja is hiring a full-time Junk Removal Driver to join our team in Ottawa. You’ll drive our trucks, haul heavy stuff, and make sure every customer is glad they called us.

Let’s be straight with you, though. This job is heavy. You’ll be lifting couches, fridges, mattresses, and whatever else folks have been hoarding in their basements since 1987. You’ll be out in the heat, the rain, and the snow. Some days you’ll be sore.

If that sounds like a nightmare, no hard feelings. This one’s not for you.

But if you like working hard, staying busy, and going home tired knowing you actually did something, keep reading.

What you’ll do

- Drive the Junk Ninja truck to jobs across Ottawa and the surrounding areas
- Load and unload heavy items, often up and down stairs
- Secure every load properly and haul it to the dump, recycling, or donation centres
- Treat customers’ homes like your grandma’s place, and talk to them like a pro
- Follow traffic laws and company safety rules, every trip
- Keep the truck, gear, and work area clean and ready to roll

What you need

- A valid Ontario G licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs over and over, all day long
- The stamina to keep loading on the last job of the day, not just the first
- Show up on time, every time, ready for full-time hours




- Comfortable working on your own or as part of a crew
- Friendly with customers, even the chatty ones
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

Nice to have, but not a deal-breaker

- Experience driving trucks or larger vehicles.

What you get

- Full-time hours, Monday to Saturday
- Hourly pay $21.00 - $23.00 per hour + tips + bonuses

Not a fit if you:

- Have more than 1 driving infractions in the last 3 years
- Can’t commit to a 7:30 a.m. start
- Want a desk job (we love you, but no)
