The Leader Tech is responsible for supporting the Supervisors and Management of TG Minto by following all TG Minto policies and procedures and leading by example at all times. He/ She will work closely with the assigned supervisor and assist with directing employees. Versatile work hours will be necessary. There is a six-month probationary period for this position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
- Meet hourly production quotas.
- Document daily production.
- Operate all injection machines and assembly stations.
- Ability to be cross trained in many areas, tasks and or machinery.
- Ability to train FTMs.
- Understand and follow the Kanban system.
- Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines.
- Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred –or—successful completion of an aptitude test
- You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job. Accommodations can be made.
Straight Shift Timing on Afternoon Shift (4:30P.M. - 1:00A.M.) but may be required to change shifts in order to accommodate production requirements.
