Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Cashier to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, excellent time management skills, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks following company standards.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash, credit, or digital payments.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and safety guidelines.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries,



resolving issues promptly, and creating a positive experience for all guests.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred; familiarity with serving and cashiering roles is advantageous.
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in the food industry or similar roles is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about coffee, food service, and delivering outstanding customer experiences in a professional setting.

Pay: From $17.90 per hour
