Fort McMurray 468 First Nation Business Center LP is seeking a self-motivated safety conscious individual who will be responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties at the new Health Centre and other locations nearby to ensure that buildings are maintained in a healthy, protected and sanitary manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean offices, meeting chambers, hallways, washrooms and recreational facilities
- Mop tile and concrete floor areas and vacuum all carpeted areas
- Dust all furniture and fixtures as required
- Wash and disinfect all washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, hand dryers, fixtures and mirrors
- Replenish required supplies
- Keep outside area near exits and entrances clear of snow, cans, paper, etc.
- Steam clean floors, clean kitchen sinks and counters
- Report maintenance issues and acts of vandalism
- Operate equipment such as buffers
- Complete FLRA’s prior to commencing shift
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Must have own transportation or ability to get to and from the Health Centre and other buildings
- Physical ability to lift 20 pounds or more; prolonged standing, walking, lifting, squatting and bending; operating medium weight cleaning equipment such as buffers, and moving desks and furniture
QUALIFICATIONS:
- CSO or CSTS 2020 required
- Successful Pre-access Drug and Alcohol Testing
