Our client, a luxury fashion retailer, is seeking Front of House Support Associates to join their boutique team at the Shangri-La Hotel in Vancouver, BC (onsite). These associates will primarily support the sales floor by welcoming clients, assisting sales team members, retrieving merchandise, and providing general floor coverage. The ideal candidates have experience in high-end or luxury retail, a strong enthusiasm for fashion and current trends, and the ability to deliver an exceptional client experience through product knowledge and personalized recommendations.

This is a temporary, full-time position for 4 weeks, with an immediate start and the potential to extend based on business needs. The schedule is 40 hours per week. Candidates must be able to work a retail schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Duties Include:

- Support primarily on the sales floor, providing coverage and support to the sales team.
- Welcome and engage clients, creating a warm, polished, and professional first impression.
- Assist Client Advisors with client needs, including retrieving merchandise and additional sizes, preparing fitting rooms, and supporting appointments.
- Provide product recommendations and engage clients using knowledge of fashion, current trends, and merchandise.
- Assist with wrapping client purchases and providing other client service support as needed.
- Maintain a professional and organized sales floor to ensure an elevated shopping experience.
- Flex between front-of-house responsibilities and back-of-house operations as needed, including stockroom organization, merchandise handling, and other operational tasks.
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support daily store operations.





Job Qualifications Include:

- Previous customer service experience required; prior retail experience preferred.
- Previous selling experience in a luxury, designer, or high-end retail environment strongly preferred.
- Strong interest in fashion, current trends, and luxury products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with clients.
- Strong client service skills and the ability to provide thoughtful product recommendations.
- Adaptability and willingness to support both sales floor and back-of-house operations.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must successfully complete and clear a background check before starting.

Pay: $23 CAD per hour.
