Responsibilities

- Provide housekeeping services and assistance to guest rooms as required.
- Deliver guest amenities and requested items to guest rooms in a timely manner.
- Clean and polish metalwork, glass, doors, windowsills, and other surfaces throughout public areas.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns or repair needs throughout the hotel.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel lobby, including moving and arranging furniture as needed.
- Inspect furniture for tears, rips, stains, or other damage and report concerns to the Director of Housekeeping.
- Clean and maintain assigned public washrooms, ensuring they are thoroughly sanitized and adequately stocked.
- Empty garbage receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately throughout all public areas.
- Sweep, scrub, wax,



and polish floors to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the housekeeping team and overall hotel operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of a 24/7 hotel operation.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an upscale hotel or hospitality establishment, is considered an asset.
- Ability to dust, clean washrooms, and vacuum efficiently while meeting established timeframes and cleanliness standards.
- Solid organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
