Assistant Store Manager – Full Time

FHENY is an Ottawa-owned premium and luxury multi-brand fashion retailer offering a curated selection of clothing, footwear, handbags, and accessories for women, men and kids.

We are looking for a full-time Assistant Store Manager who is passionate about fashion, exceptional customer service, and driving sales. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the sales floor, building client relationships, supporting a team, and taking ownership of the day-to-day needs of a growing retail business.

The successful candidate will work closely with the store leadership and will be expected to become a reliable and trusted member of the management team, helping execute priorities, solve problems, maintain high standards, and keep the store running effectively.

What You’ll Do

- Lead by example on the sales floor and actively drive daily and monthly sales goals
- Deliver a high level of personalized customer service appropriate for a premium and luxury retail environment
- Build long-term relationships with clients and support clienteling initiatives
- Train, Coach, motivate, and support sales associates to improve performance
- Assist with opening, closing, scheduling, daily operations, and store organization
- Monitor sales performance and help the team stay focused on targets and KPIs
- Maintain strong visual merchandising and presentation standards
- Assist with inventory, receiving, replenishment, and stock organization
- Help coordinate new product launches, events, promotions, and special client experiences
- Experience in social media and content creation
- Communicate regularly with the store leadership regarding store performance, customer feedback, staffing, and operational priorities
- Take initiative and confidently handle day-to-day issues when senior leadership is unavailable

Who We’re Looking For

- Minimum 2–3 years of fashion retail experience in a premium or luxury environment
- Previous supervisory, keyholder,



assistant manager, or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Visual Merchandising skills required
- Strong sales ability with a proven customer-focused approach
- Goal-oriented and comfortable working toward individual and store sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, polished, dependable, and highly organized
- A strong team player who is also comfortable taking initiative independently
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial retail environment
- Robust understanding of styling, fashion, clienteling, and premium customer expectations
- Comfortable working closely with the store leadership and responding to changing business priorities
- Available to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
