Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and personable Server with a valid Smart Serve Certificate to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires robust communication skills, efficient time management, and a passion for hospitality. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cashiering duties
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Provide guest services that foster a welcoming atmosphere and encourage repeat visits

Experience

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for order entry and cash handling accurately
- Experience in hospitality or the food industry is beneficial for understanding guest needs and upselling techniques
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
