Technical Proofreader

Bond Consulting Group works with businesses across a range of industries, including science, technology, engineering, and medicine, managing the SR&ED; claim process on their behalf. We are looking for a talented Technical Proofreader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional proofreading and editing skills, a strong command of English grammar and style, and the ability to review complex technical documents for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and compliance with established guidelines.

Job Specifications/Key Responsibilities:

- Proofread and edit technical and scientific documents prepared for SR&ED; tax claims, as well as internal documents, legal materials, marketing content, presentations, and training
- Review written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, consistency, and overall
- Ensure documents meet established formatting and presentation standards, including page layout, spacing, text alignment, and image placement.
- Provide constructive feedback to Analysts to clarify wording, improve sentence structure, and maintain consistency in style and terminology.
- Use Microsoft Word, Track Changes,



and other relevant software to review, edit, and finalize documents.
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy and quality across all written
- Adhere to proofreader style guide, templates and terminology
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Journalism, Communications or
- Minimum 2 years of proofreading or editing experience
- Excellent command of written English, with strong grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong technical and creative writing abilities, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and
- Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for language and written
- Proven experience in proofreading, editing, or professional
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, including Track Changes, is
- Experience reviewing science, technology, engineering, medicine, legal, or professional business documents is an asset.

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

Earning Potential: $55,000- $60,000 per year, plus additional incentives

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Location: BCG Office (920 The East Mall, Etobicoke) (Relocating to south/east Mississauga in November 2026)
