Lead Carpenter for Award Winning Renovation Company / Working ForemanVictoria, BC | $39 to $43 per hour, depending on experience

An established residential renovation company is seeking a capable right-hand person to work closely with the owner, run jobs and supervise a small crew.

We specialize in high-quality renovations and character homes. This role combines hands-on carpentry, site leadership and assistance with the business side of operations.

Responsibilities:

- Manage daily jobsite operations and supervise the crew.
- Business-minded and can do bookkeeping.
- Prefer if you are able to do hands-on carpentry.
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials and deliveries.
- Read drawings, plan work and solve problems.
- Communicate professionally with clients, employees and trades.
- Assist with job costing, recordkeeping and administrative tasks.
- Maintain a secure, clean and organized jobsite.What we’re looking for:




- Strong residential carpentry and renovation experience preferred.
- Good people skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Strong supervision, organization and communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and run jobs independently.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience in both framing and finishing carpentry.
- Business degree.
- Bookkeeping experience.
