Tri-Star Dairy Center Ltd. is looking for a motivated, dependable, and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a DeLaval Service Technician.

As a service technician, you'll work directly with our Manitoba dairy producers, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing modern dairy & farm equipment. This is a hands-on position offering a variety of daily challenges, opportunities to develop technical skills, and the satisfaction of helping farmers keep their operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair DeLaval milking equipment and other farm systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on milking parlours, robotic milking systems, cooling equipment, and related components.
- Install and commission current dairy equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum-related issues.
- Respond to emergency service calls and participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide recommendations for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Accurately document service work, repairs, and parts used.
- Work independently and alongside other technicians to complete service and installation projects.

Qualifications

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with electrical systems, motors, plumbing,



or agricultural equipment is considered an asset.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and work independently as well as a part of a team.
- Comfortable working with tools, computers, and modern technology.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Previous experience with dairy equipment or DeLaval systems is an asset but not required.

Extensive training will be provided to the right candidate.
