Tutors Unlimited is one of Canada’s largest and fastest growing tutorial services for high school, college and university students. Students and parents love our 1-on-1 approach, knowledgeable tutors, affordable rates and friendly, helpful customer service.

Our current Stats and Physics tutors are approaching capacity, so we need additional tutors to join our educational team. In this role, you will provide engaging, personalized instruction, helping students grasp complex concepts with clarity and confidence. This position offers an exciting prospect to make a meaningful impact on students’ educational journeys while honing your teaching skills in a supportive environment.

Our tutors meet students both in-person and online online. They set their own schedules and limit their own workload, making it the perfect position for candidates who are organized, self-motivated and professional.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver highly effective,



1-on-1 tutorial sessions in Statistics or Physics to high school, college and university students from St. John's and across Canada.

- Adapt to diverse curricula from multiple provinces and universities.

- Interact with students and parents in a professional, friendly and helpful manner.

- Support students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring accommodations.

Requirements:

- You must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Physics or a very closely related field.

- You must have at least one year of instructional experience.

- You must have outstanding communications skills.

- Your must be dedicated, organized, punctual and professional.

- You must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Pay: $24.00 per hour
