Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 4th year and Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, (ie housing, commercial) ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to essential infrastructure projects, teaching new members, working alone, and being part of the team.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately install and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment in commercial or industrial settings.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform electrical work on renovation, construction, or maintenance projects.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and testing devices; implement effective solutions promptly.
- Work with low voltage systems such as security alarms/cameras, communication lines
- Collaborate with team members on large-scale projects involving electrical upgrades or new installations.




- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an electrician in residential or commercial environments with a robust understanding of electrical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals accurately.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems.
- Construction experience or background in renovation projects is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred.

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 42.0 per week
