Whether you're an experienced media sales representative, an independent marketing consultant, a sponsorship professional or someone with strong industry relationships, this flexible opportunity allows you to leverage your existing network without taking on a traditional full time sales role.

What You'll Be Selling

HORIZON offers businesses and organizations opportunities to connect with an engaged audience of Canadian travellers and lifestyle consumers through integrated media campaigns.

Our ready-to-sell packages can include:

- Print advertising in HORIZON Travel & Lifestyle
- Digital advertising and website features
- Email and newsletter placements
- Social media campaigns
- Digital out-of-home advertising
- Branded content, sponsored features and promotional partnerships

Campaigns are professionally packaged to make it easier to present opportunities to prospective clients without building complex media plans from scratch.

HORIZON provides the media platform, campaign concepts, sales materials, production and fulfillment support.

What You'll Do

- Introduce HORIZON's advertising and marketing opportunities to businesses within your professional network.
- Identify potential clients across relevant industries.
- Present our existing campaign packages and identify opportunities for customized partnerships.




- Manage sales conversations from initial introduction through to closing.
- Develop new client relationships and generate repeat business.
- Work independently, managing your own schedule and sales activity.
- Earn commission on qualifying sales you generate.

You may be a great fit if you:

- Have an existing network of business owners, decision-makers or marketing professionals.
- Have experience in media sales, advertising, marketing, sponsorships, partnerships, consulting or B2B sales.
- Have connections within tourism, travel, hospitality, food and beverage, associations, automotive, real estate, retail, financial services or related industries.
- Are comfortable initiating conversations, presenting opportunities and closing business.
- Are entrepreneurial, self-motivated and able to work independently.

Compensation

This is an independent contractor opportunity with commission-based compensation. There is no guaranteed base salary.

Your earnings depend on the business you generate and the applicable commission structure. This opportunity may be particularly attractive to professionals who can leverage existing relationships to develop new advertising and marketing accounts.

Commission terms, eligible sales and payment arrangements will be discussed with qualified candidates.
