We are currently seeking Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with minimum of 5 years of experience to join our clinical supervision team and support students completing their practicum placements.

This is a fully virtual opportunity ideal for an experienced clinician who enjoys mentorship, professional development, and supporting emerging therapists as they build confidence and competence in clinical practice.Position Overview

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will provide individual clinical supervision to practicum students, supporting their professional growth while promoting ethical, competent, and client-centred clinical practice.

The ideal candidate is approachable, collaborative, knowledgeable, and passionate about helping students bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide individual clinical supervision to practicum students through secure virtual platforms.
- Support students in developing clinical skills, professional judgment, and therapeutic confidence.
- Guide case conceptualization, treatment planning, clinical documentation, and evidence-informed interventions.




- Provide guidance regarding ethical decision-making, professional boundaries, risk assessment, and client safety.
- Facilitate reflective practice, self-awareness, and professional identity development. Conduct direct observation of clinical work and provide constructive, timely feedback.
- Monitor student progress and identify areas for continued learning and professional development.
- Complete required supervision documentation, student evaluations, and practicum-related reporting.
- Collaborate with CFA's clinical leadership and practicum coordination team to support a positive learning experience.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

- Be a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
- Be authorized for independent practice.
- Hold a Master's degree or higher in counselling psychology, psychotherapy, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate clinical counselling or psychotherapy experience.
- Have completed, or be willing to complete, 30 hours of clinical supervision coursework.
- Have completed, or be willing to complete, the CRPO Clinical Supervision learning module.
- Be able to provide direct observation of student clinical work and meaningful, constructive feedback.Be available to provide individual clinical supervision virtually.
- Demonstrate strong communication, organizational,



and mentorship skillsPrevious experience supervising practicum students or working in a clinical teaching or mentorship capacity is considered an asset.
