Job Type: Contract / Seasonal (with potential for ongoing work)

Perma-Lights is expanding in Vancouver and we’re looking for a 2-person installation crew to help install our premium permanent outdoor LED lighting systems on residential homes. Ideal for small teams, experienced installers, or skilled tradespeople looking for part-time work.

While not required, we strongly prefer that at least one member of the crew has electrical experience, as it can be helpful during low-voltage connections and system setup.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Installing aluminum track systems along rooflines (soffit, fascia, peaks, gables).
- Cutting 45° angles and making clean, professional mitres (experience is an asset but not required — full installation handbook and training provided).
- Running and connecting low-voltage RGBW LED puck lights.
- Using ladders safely and working at heights.
- Maintaining a clean job site and providing a professional customer experience.

Requirements

- 2-person crew preferred (solo installers may still apply).

- Reliable transportation (truck or vehicle capable of carrying ladders and materials).
- Tools required:
- Drill
- Tin snips
- Ladder(s)
- Basic hand tools
- Ability to work outdoors at height and on roofs safely and confidently.
- Strong attention to detail — clean cuts and straight lines matter.
- Ability and basic understanding to hide wiring
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable communicating with homeowners.
- Electrical experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

What We Provide

- All materials: tracks, puck lights, wiring, controllers, fasteners, etc.
- Full installation handbook.
- On-call support from our operations manager if questions arise on site.
- Pre-sold, scheduled jobs — no selling or canvassing required.

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week

Benefits:
