Job Overview

Our employer partner is seeking reliable and hardworking Dishwashers for hospitality and food service assignments across the Greater Toronto Area and Durham Region.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and capable of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in busy commercial kitchens. This position offers opportunities for individuals interested in gaining experience or advancing their careers in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Safely operate commercial dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing and kitchen areas.
- Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and maintain appropriate waste disposal practices.
- Sweep, mop, and clean kitchen floors and surrounding work areas.




- Assist kitchen staff with general cleaning and sanitation duties.
- Follow established food safety, workplace health and safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Support kitchen operations during busy service periods.
- Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Previous experience in dishwashing, kitchen assistance, or hospitality is an asset.
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with kitchen staff.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies and equipment as required.
- Good English communication skills.
- Flexible availability for weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
- Food Handler Certification and WHMIS certification are assets.

Compensation and Opportunities

- Hourly pay: $18.00–$19.00, based on experience.
- Full-time and part-time opportunities.

Work Location and Application Details
