About Light Right

Light Right Illumination is a locally owned Victoria lighting company. We've been installing lighting across Greater Victoria since 2014, and we're an authorized Celebright Gold Partner. Celebright is a permanent, color-changing LED lighting system that sits along the roofline. It looks like clean trim by day. At night, homeowners can change the colors from an app for holidays, game days, or any other occasion.

The role

You'll help install Celebright systems on homes as part of a small crew. This is skilled, hands-on work, and we'll train you on the system. The work is outdoors and at height, and customers will see your work every night for years.

What you'll do

- Measure, cut, and mount aluminum track along soffits and rooflines
- Install LED bulbs and run low-voltage wire to our specs
- Mount and connect controllers, and test every zone and color before leaving
- Help set up the customer's app and show them how it works
- Work safely on ladders and at height, and keep the site clean

What we're looking for

- Comfortable on ladders and at height, outdoors in all weather
- Careful,

detail-oriented work (straight lines and clean finishes matter)
- Basic hand and power tool skills
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to job sites
- Able to lift and carry 40 lb and be on your feet for a full shift
- Available for 2-3 days per week, with some weeks full-time depending on the schedule
- Experience in trades, low-voltage, siding, soffit, gutters, or finish carpentry is a plus. It isn't required, because we'll train you.

What you get

- $28/hour
- Paid training on the Celebright system
- Adaptable, project-based scheduling
- Small-team environment with direct access to the owner
- Ongoing work beyond this season
