Role:

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisors, the Cleaner is responsible for all daily cleaning tasks in the Warehouse, as well as any minor maintenance of the facility. Hiring all shifts.

Role Responsibilities:

- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse including dry good area, fridge and freezer.
- Sweeping, and mopping of warehouse floors
- Dusting and cleaning of racking
- Dusting and cleaning of walls, light fixtures, and more.
- Emptying waste containers and use of appropriate disposition practices.
- Lifting heavy items, up to 70 lbs, when necessary.
- Perform minor outdoor maintenance in inclement weather (i.e. salting, shoveling of walkways)
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:

- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent and clean CPIC




- Other training preferred: pallet/fork license, WHMIS, TDG, etc.
- A minimum of one (1) year of similar work experience
- Capable of working in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Ability to work and operate in a safe manner in accordance with Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work in various climates (warehouse, cooler and freezer)

Pay: $21.00 per hour
