Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced flooring installer to add to our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable directing on job sites and working with power tools. This role requires a strong understanding of construction and safety practices. We need someone who can lead others and deliver high-quality flooring solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Install various types of flooring materials, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and luxury vinyl (additional experience with carpet is a plus).
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, levelling, and repairing as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to quality standards.




- Adhere to and uphold all construction safety protocols.

Requirements

- At least 2 years of experience in flooring installation.
- Ability to lead and direct others on the job site.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Good communication skills and customer satisfaction skills.
- Must be dependable and organized.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Must own steel-toed boots (all other safety wear will be provided).
- Have a valid G drivers license.
- Must be a permanent Canadian resident.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour
