We are currently looking for an energetic individual to join our team as a professional Shunt Driver.

Qualifications

Class 1 license w air brake endorsement

Must have a minimum of one-year verifiable experience with truck and trailer

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Must provide a recent criminal record search
Must provide an original driver’s abstract no older than 30 days.
Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the job such as lifting (75-100 lbs)

Must be able to read, write and understand English

Responsible for:

Moving trucks and/or trailers in and out of our shop, tarping facility, our wash bay and, between our three yards in Oak Bluff as required.

Stage trucks and trailers for outbound linehaul drivers





Must be able to drive both manual and auto shift transmissions

Must be proficient in hooking and unhooking a tractor trailer unit.

Saturdays required on rotation (Weekday off when working a Saturday)

Shift start time 0730 - 08:00

Must be able to work in all weather conditions including heat, cold and rain.

Must be a multi-tasker with strong attention to detail
