Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director to lead our financial operations and drive the company's financial growth. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, risk analysis, and investment strategies. This leadership role requires a strong background in corporate finance, bookkeeping, and financial services, with the ability to develop innovative business development initiatives. The Finance Director will play a pivotal role in shaping financial policies, ensuring compliance, and supporting executive decision-making to sustain long-term organizational success.

Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct risk analysis and develop risk management strategies to mitigate financial exposure.
- Oversee accounting activities including account reconciliation, bookkeeping, payroll, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor cash flow, manage cost control initiatives, and optimize financial resources.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to finance teams; foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business development efforts and strategic initiatives.




- Prepare detailed financial reports for Administration and Council.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years experience in corporate finance, accounting, or related financial services roles.
- Strong expertise in accounts payable using Sage 300, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, budgeting, and account reconciliation.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Knowledge of risk analysis, risk management, cost management, and investment strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to develop innovative business development initiatives that support organizational growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or qualified certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.

Pay: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
