Pay: $48–$55 per hour, based on experience, with an optional additional professional services incentive.

Job Description

Aurora North Pharmacy is seeking a friendly, motivated, and patient-focused Part-Time Pharmacist to join our growing community pharmacy.

We are looking for a pharmacist who enjoys providing personalized patient care, building strong patient relationships, and taking an active role in delivering clinical pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurately dispense prescriptions and provide medication counselling.
- Conduct medication reviews and minor ailment assessments.
- Prescribe medications within the pharmacist's authorized scope of practice.
- Administer vaccinations and injections as authorized.
- Identify and resolve drug therapy problems.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Support daily pharmacy operations, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.
- Promote and expand professional pharmacy services.

Qualifications

- Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Experience with Kroll pharmacy software is an asset.
- Strong clinical knowledge and patient counselling skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.




- Proficiency in English is required; Chinese language skills (Cantonese or Mandarin) are an asset.
- Community pharmacy experience is preferred.
- Injection certification is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Compensation & Schedule

- Hourly Rate: $48–$55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Professional Services Incentive: Optional additional compensation of 30% of eligible professional services revenue, including minor ailment assessments, on top of an agreed hourly rate.
- Schedule: 2–3 days per week, based on pharmacy operational needs.
